This November’s election will likely prove to be one of the most exciting elections in the History of the United States of America. I’m a Libertarian, free-market activist, so it’s a given that I’ll be glued to results for about 24 hours straight.
But I’m in Chicago, and God knows far left politics in this city make for a predictable night in local politics with virtually no excitement for a free-market junkie like myself. With that in mind, I’ve decided to spend November 3rd, 4th, and 5th in Columbus Ohio.
I’ll be setting up Conservablogs to live blog and follow the election as it unfolds, I’ll be live Tweeting the event, and I’ll be following Ballotpedia’s live wiki format throughout the night.
I would love to hook up with Ohio bloggers in the Columbus area for a beer while I’m in town.
See you in Ohio!
I’m not sure why the McCain campaign has decided to suspend campaign activity to work on economy bailout issues. I mean, I thought Barack Obama had a great response about being able to multi-task and work on the economy debate while meeting with voters. Apparently McCain cannot do the same.
It still remains to be seen whether or not McCain will show up at the debate Friday night. I can see “some” logic to wanting to push the debate up a bit further… mostly because this is the debate where he will dominate Obama. Obama doesn’t have a chance in debating McCain on foreign policy and team Obama knows it. Which is why they are probably hoping to get this first debate out of the way as quick as possible.
But the McCain folks likely want it

Last week, while in Las Vegas, I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Kevin Farley and Myrna Sokoloff of the upcoming film An American Carol.
After having a wonderful lunch with Farley, the main character in the movie, and Sokoloff, the story writer, I became convinced that the folks behind An American Carol are top notch, free-market minded, and extremely deserving of the help of center-right activists and online professionals throughout social media realms.
It was made clear that An American Carol

It’s good to be back at it. Vacation was wonderful and much needed, but I’m now itching to jump back into the online movement realm head first. A lot is happening, and I’ll have much to talk about over the next week, but for now I want to get the most important two items out on the table.
1) #dontgo Movement
A lot of folks have wondered why the #dontgo Movement has been so quiet. Well, good news, we’ve been organizing a board of directors in preparation for the launch of dontgoPAC.
The new board is made up of the following
-Eric Odom
-Elizabeth Blackney
-Allen Fuller
-Sherri Reece
-Richard Disney
Starting next week, this board will meet weekly and begin work on strategic ways to advance the movement online.
We will also be launching the new site, which will be loaded with high end features and tools that allow us to perform political action.
Get ready for a huge announcement to come sometime next week for this. And in the mean time, make sure you’re on the #dontgo list so that you get the updates via email.
2) CLC 2008
I’ll be at the national Conservative Leadership Conference next week. I’ll be live tweeting CLC and I’ll be networking with political junkies to talk #dontgo and related stuffs.
If you’ll be at CLC, please let me know ASAP so we can be sure to meet up.
Not only did I spend the past 7 days on a much needed vacation, it was also the first time I’ve taken more than two consecutive days off this entire year. And when I say off, I mean REALLY off!
Indeed, starting September 3rd, 2008, I turned the ringer off on my Blackberry and didn’t even check email until just two days ago. Even then I just scanned through it to make sure nothing burned down.
It was much needed time off, and I feel well rested and ready to fire back up with major projects for the Sam Adams Alliance (one of my clients), #dontgo, and Thanks to Palin.
So what did I do?
